Wills & Estates matters

A will, sometimes called a “last will and testament,” is a document that states your final wishes. Its a legal document that sets forth your instructions and wishes regarding the distribution of your property (your money, property, possessions and other assets) and the care of any minor children after your death. If you die without a will, those wishes may not be followed.

Probate is a legal process for distributing your estate according to the terms of your Will. The executor named in the Will has to apply for a Grant of Probate to legally distribute a deceased’s assets.
